


February 16th, 2025, marked a special and sacred occasion as Sixteen young souls received the sacrament of First Holy Communion during the 9:30 AM Mass. It was a moment of grace and joy as these children took an important step in their faith journey, receiving Jesus Christ for the first time in the Holy Eucharist.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Fr. Elias D’souza, Fr. Nickson Gabru, Fr. Brian Moras,Dn. Rolwyn and Dn. Sylvester Lobo, who together led a beautiful and spiritually enriching Mass. Their words of encouragement and blessings filled the church with warmth and devotion, making the ceremony even more meaningful for the children and their families. The six girls, Arleen George, Angelina Rajan, Tushita Tuyet, Verolyn Kunnitharayil, Joanna Chettiar, and Samyra Mascarenhas, and the ten boys, Bosco D’souza, Lewin Chettiar, Marshall D’cunha, Favio Mendonsa, Raphael Nadar, Malvyn D’souza, Sylvester Furtado, Avitus Aravindan, Christopher Lobo, and Asher D’souza, received this holy sacrament today.
Dressed in white, symbolizing purity and new beginnings, the children participated in the Mass with deep reverence and joy. As they received the Body and Blood of Christ, their faces reflected a sense of devotion and gratitude, embracing this sacred gift with open hearts.
The church was filled with the love and prayers of family members, godparents, and well-wishers who gathered to witness and celebrate this milestone. The St Judes choir enhanced the spiritual ambiance with melodious hymns, uplifting the congregation in prayer and thanksgiving. May this day be the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith and love for these young communicants. May they always walk in the light of Christ, strengthened by His presence in the Eucharist.Let us keep them in our prayers as they continue to grow in faith, love, and service to God and the Church.
